ABOUT ME

Dr. Luz D. Narcisse is a senior higher education executive and strategic leader currently serving as Chief of Staff and Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives at Edward Waters University. In this role, she works closely with the Office of the President and Board of Trustees to advance institutional priorities, strengthen operations, and drive initiatives that support student success, enrollment growth, and long-term sustainability.

With a career spanning higher education, nonprofit leadership, and advancement, Dr. Narcisse has led transformational efforts across multiple institutions, including Louisiana State University, the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg College, and City Year. She is known for building strategic partnerships, securing philanthropic investment, and designing initiatives that expand access and opportunity for underserved communities.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Narcisse's leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to equity, service, and creating pathways for others. She brings both professional expertise and personal passion to every space she serves.
