About Me

Delquanda has spent her career of over 25 years as a change agent advocating for equity and stronger communities and families. During her tenure with foundations,DSC05374 (1) funders, and community service agencies, and as a volunteer, she led initiatives to support nonprofits, literacy programs, and residents for their continuous improvement strategy of excelling missions, leveraging resources, and developing resiliency. She also built and sustained stakeholder relationships; convened providers and residents to share information to improve outcomes; led her team to positive impact and community change initiatives; and tracked impact. She also managed, trained, and supported corporate leadership and consulted with government contracts all while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in International Business followed by a master’s degree in Business Administration.

 She is a Beyond Diversity Courageous Conversations Affiliate Practitioner to continue to talk about race and creates opportunities to bridge the equity gap. Her volunteerism coincides with intentional, strategic engagement where she serves on regional and local grant review committees, mentors on various levels, and co-facilitate collaboratives to connect and leverage resources and partners to build stronger communities. Delquanda is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of South Florida and a proud lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, where she resides with her family while living in divine purpose.
