ABOUT ME

Bianca Mieses is a trained community engagement professional she has gained valuable experience in the corporate, health, and education sectors. She worked in senior management at a local retirement community, abroad as an English teacher curriculum developer, and business development associate for commercial interiors company in Tampa Bay.

Bianca is actively involved in several organizations in the Tampa Bay community including DE&I Council of the St. Pete Chamber and sits on the board of both Tampa Connection and Leadership St. Pete, having graduated from both programs. She also has co-founded St. Petian Collaborative, and YEA Collective.

As an Alaskan native and long-term transplant to St. Petersburg, Bianca is drawn to exploration, and she routinely seeks out opportunities to further her education and experience in ways that allow her to better support her community. Most recently she has been pursuing extra-professional development in the areas of equity and inclusion, honing her skills as a facilitator in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. She is a graduate of the two-part Courageous Conversations Beyond Diversity training on race, certified Courageous Conversations Affiliate Practitioner, part of the inaugural Facilitation Master Class, and a DE&I Facilitator for Inclusivity.
