Mandi Johnson is a certified personal trainer and has a Master’s degree in Social Work. Working as a counselor, she has specialized in serving the LGBTQ+ community. Her passion for discovering human personality and behavior began in her high school years, leading her to study Psychology and Sociology as an undergraduate. Participating in a variety of research studies, she realized that although people can come in many forms, we are all deserving of equality and pursuing our purpose. This led to her studies in Social Work, which allowed her to focus on marginalized groups.
Before joining the Inclusivity team, she has presented health and wellness topics to corporations inspiring healthy lifestyle habits. Her entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking led her to start her own business in health and wellness coaching. Coaching and counseling has developed her strong communication and mediation skills.
Mandi has joined many community groups to increase engagement in Medicaid programs with focus on the population living with mental illness. Some include Pasco and Pinellas Homeless Coalitions as well as ASAP (Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention).
